So you’ve got your learner’s. Well done. But after riding around witches hats in a car park you now have to go out and apply your skills in the real world.
Well, relax. For a start you’ve got one up on a learner in a car, you’ve been taught (and passed a test) how to ride. They have to learn how to drive while negotiating roads and traffic. But it’s not all beer and skittles, they’ve got an experienced driver beside them who can give advice and tips, in other words a mentor.
That’s where we come in. We provide a way for you ask questions of experienced riders in a non-threatening environment.
Mentors
We want you to transition from a beginning rider to someone who is comfortable and safe on your motorcycle. We can help you understand basic strategies to make a ride safer. Simple things, like checking your bike to make sure it won’t let you down. Simple things like clothing options. Simple things like positioning yourself on the road. Simple things we have learnt over the years and wish someone hold told us.
